Lego Minecraft – The Cave (21113): So for Christmas I managed to get 2 nice Minecraft sets to augment my Crafting Box, and the first is the Cave. It seems though that rather than satiating my need, this has only made me want further sets to get all of the special bits. Normally additional sets of the same type are either to complete a display, or to kludgily add on another setpiece. However because of the Lexicon created in Minecraft here this set can be less one of a number, and more something you can try to get multiples of in order to make something grand.

For this review I would like to just have you watch this video of a drone going through Hang Son Doong cave in Vietnam:
Remix: So with all of the piece types here I wanted too see how well I could make something asteroid-like. It has sort of worked here, and aside from a ladder and bucket I managed to hide all of the pieces into the core of the asteroid.
Final Thoughts: This is a nice little set to have as an addition to my existing Crafting Box, and for those who are wishing your Minecraft sets had a bit more underground to mimic what Minecraft is really like than this is certainly the set to get. I also love how well done the spider looks in Lego form here.
Final Score: 2 out of 5 Stars
